The Pool & Spa Doctor

The Pool & Spa Doctor was started in 1979 by the late Phil Della Pietro Sr. who worked as a full time math teacher in Neptune, NJ and did pools on the side during the summer.

Phil Senior was able to retire from teaching and run The Pool & Spa Doctor full time alongside his son Phil Jr. 
Growing up around pools his entire life being on-site as a kid, to now running the business: Phil Jr. learned the ins and outs by the best in the business and now delivers the same exemplary work with an installation crew who also had the honor of working alongside his father. 
This family business considers our customers just that - we strive to continue the hard work and satisfaction that has been delivered since the start!

Opening Contract

PLEASE DO NOT CALL TO SCHEDULE YOUR OPENING!

Openings Must be scheduled with a completed opening contract , providing payment information with a signed credit card consent form.

Maintenance Contract 

A Maintenance form will be required when requesting cleanings. We will not automatically sign you up for the same services recieved years prior. You must request all services for the upcoming season on the 2023 contracts.

Credit Card Consent Form

A Credit card consent form will be REQUIRED if paying your deposit with a Credit Card and must be filled out and returned before any scheduling of work. No credit cards can be taken over the phone without an updated consent form.

Closing Contract

PLEASE DO NOT CALL TO SCHEDULE YOUR CLOSING 

Closings must be scheduled with a completed contract, click the link above or email the office to request one sent to you .

Please be sure to have:

  • Outdoor Water and Electric on.

  • The cover clear of debris.

  • All attachments poolside (Skimmer baskets, Jet/Return Fittings, cover bag, Ladders or Rails, etc.)

  • The water level is at least mid-skimmer. 

  •     If you have requested an initial cleaning of the pool, please have the water ABOVE the skimmer to the TOP of the pool.​​

    • To check your water level you can open the skimmer lid along your patio and if need be put a hose right in that slot!

  • Keep in mind a pool may not be perfectly clear or swim-ready after ONE cleaning. Allow the pool to circulate a day or two and let us know if you wish a return visit for a follow-up cleaning (this is a requested and charged service).

!! If we have to return because the pool was not filled, accessories missing, or water/electricity was not on - there will be an EXTRA SERVICE CALL $140 !!
