Before you start scrolling through patterns, we recommend narrowing down the shade of water you want first: light, medium, or dark. Once you have that anchor, the border patterns and liner designs are a lot easier to work through. Some manufacturers organize selections by shade; others don't.

You're always welcome to call the office or stop in to see the patterns in person. A brochure or a screen rarely captures what you're actually choosing. Once you have a few options in mind, we can show you photos of installed liners and arrange a visit to see them firsthand. The staff is here to help you make the call.

Choosing a new liner also gives you the option to upgrade to a heavier vinyl material. Liner thickness is expressed in gauge and mil, not to be confused with millimeters. The standard liner is 20 mil (.020 inches). The upgraded option is 30 gauge, or 28/27 mil (.026 to .0275 inches). The heavier material tends to hold up better against chemicals and everyday wear and lasts longer than the standard.

Most manufacturers carry similar warranties with minor variation. They generally run 15 to 20 years, with the first two to three years as a full warranty and the remainder prorated. Liner warranties cover seams only. If you think your liner is fading due to a material issue, a representative from the liner company will come out to determine whether the cause is chemical damage or a defect covered under warranty.

Once you've selected your liner pattern, we'll ask you to sign our Liner Waiver, which outlines the installation process step by step. After the order is placed, delivery typically takes one to two weeks. Once the liner arrives, we schedule installation based on weather.

The question we hear most often is "Do I have to drain the pool?" The answer is no you do not! We come out on installation day and empty the pool ourselves. With the pump we bring, that process takes about one to two hours depending on your pool size.
